SIS is a non-profit association that is part of ISO and CEN, a network of experts working to create international standards.
With us, actors can take initiatives for standardization that promotes Sweden's competitiveness and provides smart and sustainable social development. SIS collaborates with all parts of Swedish society, such as industry, academia, the public sector and voluntary organisations.
SIS project leads the Swedish work on developing standards. We work for increased Swedish influence in international collaborations and for standardization to be spread and applied in Sweden.
We also offer training, services and products that help our customers to develop their businesses and create societal benefits with the help of standards.
SIS is appointed by the government as the Swedish standardization body within the areas of responsibility for ISO and CEN.

SIS EDUCATION & Consulting
SIS offers training in several types of disciplines that targets different types of competence levels based on needs thar care for both the individual and the organization.
We create an individual learning journey, where we support you before, during and after the training. This is done step by step through digital self-studies (e-learning), interaction with our experts and in groups practices and discussions.
SIS also offers inspiration and trend reports in our magazine SIS Perspektiv as well as offer audit support and guiding through our online service SIS Assist.
SIS Kompetenspartner takes care of you in the following ways:
We can train you in how to set up a management system for e.g. quality, innovation or risk management. We also offer training in the machinery safety directive, in medical regulations as well as in sustainability and circular economy. We offer training in the standardization process and how to produce a standard.
We come to you. We train and coach you on site and adapt the content to your management system and needs. We often manage consulting assignments where we support you over an extended period but let you decide the level of interaction you need from us. We have a set way-of-work how to involve, educate and support your employees to secure the transition of knowledge. For example, we can help you implement a management system or standard, conduct an internal audit or review process flows with suggested improvements.
